My name is Debbie H. and I am a foster parent with O.U.R. Center Fostering.
This agency really lives up to their motto of “Opportunity, Understanding and Respect”.
I have fostered in the past and I can tell you that I have never worked for an agency that provided this much support for every child that comes into their care!
We, as parents, also get lots of support.
They seem to always try to make it the best match possible for each child and our foster families.
They provide excellent training and on-going support through themselves and the many resources they have available!
As a parent I find it wonderful that I have a case manager to help me, and a one-to-one worker for my foster child.
I look forward to many more years of working with them!

Sincerely,

Debbie H. - Grimsby

I wanted to write you to share my happy ending as a foster parent with O.U.R. Center.  I decided to foster of course for the same reasons people do which was to help kids in need, I had no intentions on wanting to adopt but simply wanted to help build a path for a child to get them to their forever homes.  Well after fostering my child for almost 3 years, I made the decision to adopt her because I realized that I could not live without her, we were destined to be together.  My fostering experience was truly amazing thanks to the care and supports that your organization has in place.  I specifically want to thank one person who was an amazing mentor and support as a case worker, Colleen Walker.  I believe Colleen helped me make the decision to adopt and made fostering so easy and so pleasant.  I can’t thank her enough for what she has done and I truly want her to get this recognition, if I could give her an award I would!  I want to thank O.U.R. Center for helping me find my daughter, she has changed my life and I will give her the life that she deserves.

Sincerely,

Natalie M.

Adoptive parent
